Simplified Female Body Planning
Identifies calorie balance level required to change waist measurement to desired goal within a specified time. Reports finished body weight, percent body fat, and body measurements.
Allows for optimal timeframe to be identified to match individual lifestyle and dietary preferences.
The Female Body Planner simulation model developed in my academic research lab utilizes scientifically correct algorithms to calculate final body measurements and fat and lean weight change (the vast majority of online calculators use the erroneous 3500 calorie rule which assumes only fat loss and ignores accompanying muscle loss when not adjusting diet composition or weight bearing exercise to minimize that).
Information required: age; height; initial weight; bust, waist, and hips circumference measurement; goal waist circumference measurement; goal timeframe to accomplish weight loss.
Additional helpful information that will make the results even more accurate for you: Initial percent body fat, average daily energy expenditure (from fitness tracker device or app).
6-Month Dietary Styles Simulation
Using futureFit technology developed in my academic research lab, we can run 6-month simulations showing the effects of both calorie intake (energy balance level) and diet composition (percentage of calories coming from carbohydrate, protein and fat) on body composition changes. This allows us to optimize your diet's composition to maximize fat loss and minimize lean muscle loss, or maximize muscle gain with no fat gain or even while losing fat.
Information required: Age, height, gender, initial weight.
Additional helpful information that will make the results even more accurate for you: Initial percent body fat, average daily energy expenditure (from fitness tracker device or app), average daily physical activity (from fitness tracker device or app), daily physical activity routines.
Analysis of Body Composition Change and Apparent Diet with Optimization
Most people find themselves wondering why the weight is not coming off or why the diet is not working like they expected. Using the futureFit technology developed in my academic research lab, we can analyze your weight loss and report what your apparent energy balance level is, your apparent dietary intake and make suggestions to optimize your diet to maximize fat loss and minimize lean muscle loss or even lean muscle gain, depending on your goals.
Information required: gender, age, height, percent body fat measurements at two different time points, preferably about one month apart, initial and final body weight at the same two time points mentioned.
After analyzing your weight loss, we will provide the apparent calorie intake level and diet composition (percentage of your calorie intake from carbohydrate, fat, and protein) as well as recommendations to the calorie level and diet composition to maximize fat loss and minimize lean muscle loss or even to gain muscle, depending on your body composition change goals.
Physique Analysis, Planning, and Nutritional Support - for Athletes, Fitness Competitors, and Dancers only
Along with particular skill sets, world class athletes, dancers, and fitness competitors develop a specific regional body musculature (physique) that gives them particular advantage in their sport/position/profession (ie. a marathon runner has a different physique from a swimmer, from a weight thrower, from a wrestler, from a football lineman, etc.).
We provide an analysis of your regional body composition with comparison to world-class peer data (as available - not all sports/professions yet available). We also provide planning concepts and ideas, including nutritional support ideas, to help achieve physique change goals.
Required information: gender, age, sport/profession details and goals, height, weight, body fat percentage, regional body composition including lean and fat mass for arms, trunk and legs (available from DEXA or higher-end BIA units such as InBody 770, etc).
Additional helpful information: Body circumference measurements: neck, bust, chest, bicep, waist, hips, thigh, calf; Custom DEXA analysis (such as from a GE Prodigy system) that can break body into at least 10 regions including upper arm, lower arm, upper leg, lower leg, head, upper chest, mid trunk, hips/buttocks. Continuing Consultation Services
Most individuals find it helpful to have followup conversations and consultation as they progress towards their goals. My goal is to help each individual become educated enough that they no longer need my help, but until then I am continuously available as needed.
